Job Summary
An insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Life Insurance Underwriter.
Must be able to:
- Review and appraise applications for life insurance adhering to company standards
- Ensure a quality product and service to the agent, with a sense of urgency
- Communicate and resolve differences with agents, field representatives and other departments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel (minimally)
- Minimum of three years of life underwriting experience
- General knowledge of medical and financial terms and impairments
- Ability to promote teamwork with internal and external associates
- Ability to adapt to change and work independently
- Good organizational and time management skills
