A trademark research company is filling a position for a Telecommute Life Sciences Patent Analyst.
Must be able to:
- Understand invention disclosures in their technical area
- Conduct patent search projects to the expected qualities and on a timely manner
- Construct and conducting search strategies
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors in Biology, Biomedical, Bio-systems Engineering, Bio-Engineering
- Mechanical Reasoning skills for mentally visualizing structure and operation of inventions and prior art
- Patent search or research experience - i.e., familiarities with search engines
- Ability to comprehend complex machinery with many moving parts
- Technical understanding of the invention disclosure, and identification of search focus
- Problem solving skills in constructing and conducting patent searches using various search engines
