Job Summary
A staffing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Life Underwriter in Northbrook.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing applications for insurance to evaluate degree of risk involved
- Working on the homegrown underwriting system
- Reviewing 20 pieces (moderate workload) of underwriting pieces a day
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Life underwriting experience required
- 3-5 years in life underwriting and life insurance applications
- Experience in products such as term life credit, home, and universal life
- Experienced and versed in life products
- Swiss RE, Manual for underwriting
- Basic keyboarding technical skills
