Job Summary

A staffing company has an open position for a Telecommute Linux Support Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Assist customers with with technical issues
  • Troubleshoot and solves issues that come up
  • Create custom solutions for system/DevOps engineers/architects

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 4+ years as a Linux Admin/Engineer or within an open source environment
  • 2+ years working with customers in a support type capacity
  • Experience trouble shooting and supporting open source software
  • Experience administrating applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience working on highly available systems; knowledge of Linux
