Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute LIS Engineer in San Diego.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Formalize assay processes from R&D
  • Configure LIMS to implement processes in the CLIA lab
  • Manage laboratory data in compliance with HIPAA/HITECH regulations

Position Requirements Include:

  • B.S. in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or equivalent experience
  • Experience administering a commercial LIMS/LIS platform
  • Experience consuming HTTP APIs
  • Familiar with cloud computing concepts
  • Understanding of HIPAA, CAP, and CLIA regulations
