Job Summary

An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Litigation Representative.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Investigating, evaluating and negotiating litigated files
  • Applying knowledge of jurisdictional issues and beginning understanding of extra-contractual exposures
  • Determining claim file strategy and direction to indemnify clients

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Attend mediations and trials as necessary
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience with bodily injury in a property/casualty setting or similar work experience
  • Some prior litigation experience
  • Experience with personal lines claim settlements
  • Ability to handle case reserves with majority of matters with non-complex to intermediate and some exposure to complex matters
  • Ability to represent insured and present information during trials or mediations with third-party involvement
