Job Summary
An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Litigation Representative.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Investigating, evaluating and negotiating litigated files
- Applying knowledge of jurisdictional issues and beginning understanding of extra-contractual exposures
- Determining claim file strategy and direction to indemnify clients
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Attend mediations and trials as necessary
- 1-3 years of progressive experience with bodily injury in a property/casualty setting or similar work experience
- Some prior litigation experience
- Experience with personal lines claim settlements
- Ability to handle case reserves with majority of matters with non-complex to intermediate and some exposure to complex matters
- Ability to represent insured and present information during trials or mediations with third-party involvement
