Job Summary
A financial institution is seeking a Telecommute Loss Mitigation Underwriter I.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Understanding investor’s waterfall and required documents for loss mitigation
- Managing and monitoring account portfolio to ensure that all documentation and account decisions
- Assessing property value and variance between appraised properties and offers submitted by potential buyers
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Paralegal certification or experience
- Mortgage collections experience
- Knowledge of M&T systems
