A financial technology company is seeking a Telecommute Machine Learning Engineer in Ann Arbor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading and driving cross functional machine learning projects from beginning to end
• Developing success criteria and optimize new products, features, policies, and models
• Building a strategy of how various machine learning driven solutions come together

Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years industry experience in software engineering or machine learning-focused roles
• An advanced degree (M.S., PhD.), preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or a related technical field
• A strong track record of performing machine learning model development using Python and SQL/NoSQL interaction patterns
• Familiarity with Linux/OS X command line, version control software (git), and general software development principles
• Ability to clearly communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
