Job Summary

A clinical research organization company is filling a position for a Telecommute Mainframe Data Processing Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining system integrity and availability
  • Utilizing a variety of system tools to perform system analysis, system monitoring, etc.
  • Taking corrective action where appropriate

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5 years related experience in data processing
  • Previous experience with operational monitoring of multi-mainframe-systems
  • Experience in providing first/second level problem resolution in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Z/OS Operating System and Operational Software
  • Working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work within the UNIX and Windows environments
