Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is filling a position for a Telecommute Major Gifts Senior Development Officer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Utilizing research tools to identify top current donors for major gifts upgrade
• Participating in all aspects of the gift cycle
• Contributing to an annual revenue target by working with an assigned portfolio of donors

Qualifications for this position include:

• Ability to travel and work some nights and weekends
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent
• Proven experience developing cultivation and solicitation strategies
• Knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, ethics and understanding of nonprofit environments
• Highly energetic professional with a track record of building meaningful relationships with donors/prospects
