Job Summary
A provider of consultancy, training, and managed services is seeking a Telecommute Managed Services Team Leader.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Training, development and formal review of team members
- Providing technical leadership of the North American Managed Services team
- Maintaining security, backup and patching strategies
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to regularly attend industry events and company outings
- Experience of running a team of systems engineers/administrators
- Knowledge of at least 1 Linux distribution and familiarity with RHEL and Debian stacks
- Experience with Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, Security and Networking
- Experience using Amazon, Rackspace or Azure; Ruby, Python, Perl or PHP
- Experience running Java applications (Apache & Tomcat) in a hosted environment
