Job Summary

A software engineering company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Managing Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with a given client to set technical strategy that maps to the client's business goals
  • Ensuring technical quality in the services shipped
  • Mentoring the team leads on the program, and ensuring mentoring structures are in place

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Attend annual conference attendance benefit
  • Experience leading an engineering team and delivering scalable services to production
  • Programming in one or more major open source languages, such as Ruby, Python, Go, or Java
  • 10+ years of experience developing consumer-facing web applications, services, and APIs
  • Deep, demonstrated understanding of the fundamental technologies of the web
