Firm delivering online, virtual services seeks business copywriter who can craft compelling, concise, client focused communications to a target market of: entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, small and mid-sized firms.
Seek a copywriter who can distill complex ideas and service offerings and explain it simply in terms of value received by the customer.
Object is demand generation and sales but also positioning the firm for when the prospect is 'ready to buy' even if it's not today. Goal is also enduring client relationships that result in referrals and repeat busienss.
1) Business Development Email Writing
--Drafting email templates and sequenced follow up messages/offers for use through HubSpot.
--Best practices for # and quality of touches to convert leads to prospects to clients and referrers
--Copywriting for ongoing for email campaigns that educate and position value delivered with compelling call to action
2) Marketing (initial projects then ongoing as needed):
--Launching new services offerings/packaging
--Updating website copy and platform user experience and messaging
--Writing periodic communications about features, case studies in blogs, articles and possibly e-book/pamphlets
3) Social Media (1-2 hr/week):
--Weekly drafting/editing content
Ideally also able to
--Provide input on best practices and trends on various social platforms (e.g. hashtag usage, tagging individuals/companies)
--Analytics, suggestions for retargeting
--Potentially writing/responding to social conversations with company voice/message
--expertise in communications focused on entrepeneurs and small/mid-sized business --Experience working with dynamic internet company
--Someone who can roll with the punches, pick up work as needed and understands the work varies as priorities shift each week
--Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Compelling, less is more communication style.
--Organized and comfortable using online systems and processes
--Writing samples required, illustrating skill and experience in the various areas of work.
