Job Summary
A nonprofit organization that develops leaders, cultivates ideas, and accelerates solutions in the field of ocean health and sustainability needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Marketing Community Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing all on and offline interactions with audiences and key targets including social following, influencers, partners, participants, etc.
- Deploying all digital engagement strategies and helping to analyze collected test and learn data
- Organizing and participating in events to build community and boost brand awareness
Qualifications for this position include:
- Community management, marketing and social media experience
- 8+ years of experience in managing communities and working on marketing / digital teams
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Nonprofit marketing and social media experience, experience with startups and/or experience at marketing or digital agencies
- Ability to work with marketing, social media, public relations, digital and visual design teams
- Demonstrated successful delivery of community management programs, growth of organizations and ability to get the word out
