Job Summary

A media company is seeking a Telecommute Media Data Engineer in New York City.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Writing and maintaining ETL scripts
  • Transitioning the company's central OLAP data store to BigQuery
  • Creating complex SQL queries to join data in ways that drive insights

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Attend panel discussions
  • 3+ years of experience designing databases, maintaining databases and developing ETL scripts
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud-based data warehouses
  • 1+ year of experience maintaining a BI tool
  • Proficiency in a scripting language and adept in a SQL query language
  • Experience with source control management tools like GitHub
  • Experience with web-analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent
