Job Summary

A provider of healthcare business and operational services needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Medicaid Clinical Review Manager in Tampa.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Applying inpatient InterQual criteria to Medicaid inpatient admissions
• Abstracting clinical data to support the authorization of inpatient dates of service
• Entering clinical data into iExchange, web based application

Required Skills:

• A working knowledge of current standards in nursing practice, theory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems including Meditech, Patient Accounting, etc
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance and reconcile figures
• Ability to punctuate properly, spell correctly, and transcribe accurately.
