Job Summary
A home health benefits management company has an open position for a Telecommute Medicaid Medical Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Serving as the Medicaid clinical lead for all quality, clinical, utilization management, and policies for Medicaid and LTSS programs
- Providing leadership and coordination for the development and implementation of a cohesive approach to measuring and promoting quality
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with cross-functional leaders
Qualifications for this position include:
- MD or DO with an active and unencumbered medical license
- 5 years' plus experience in an area of relevant clinical practice
- 5 years' plus experience with a Medicaid health plan, or a State Medicaid Agency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Medicaid thought leader with market intelligence
