Job Summary
A medical device manufacturer has an open position for a Telecommute Medical Affairs Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Executing responses to medical information requests for information timely and accurately
- Managing and overseeing the work of medical affairs professionals and consultants
- Monitoring and reviewing literature resources regarding competitors’ products
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
- Must have an advanced scientific degree (eg-MD, PharmD, PhD) with > 3 years of industry experience
- Experience interacting with disease state advocacy groups, clinicians and patients/caregivers
- Experience working with a variety of stakeholders on medical communications
- Ability to understand, review and communicate complex technical concepts
- Clinical patient care experience (preferably in Orthopedics)
