Job Summary
A provider of interpreting services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Medical Appointments Interpreter in Grass Valley.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Facilitate many kinds of conversations
- Accurately repeat information from one person to another
- Maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BEI or RID Certified
- Advanced, accurate interpretation skills between English and American Sign Language
- Extensive working knowledge of the NADRID Code of Professional Conduct
- Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Mix of professional certification and training or 2-4 year degree in interpretation OR
- 5+ years experience with ASL interpretation or relevant experience besides interpretation
