Job Summary

An insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Medical Case Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing Long-Term Disability, Short-term Disability and Premium Waver claims with complex medical conditions
  • Identifying appropriate claim referrals and effectively assessing claims to ensure they reach the appropriate claim outcome
  • Facilitating case management strategies to a potential Return to Work

Position Requirements Include:

  • At least 3 years of current clinical experience in an acute care, orthopedic, neurological, physical rehabilitation, industrial medical setting
  • Clinical ability to assess Disability Claims with complex medical histories
  • Ability to explain complex medical conditions and ability to communicate with attending physicians
  • Accurate clinical assessment and analytical skills
  • Prior experience in facilitating RTW for disabled employees
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
