Job Summary

An educational institution is in need of a Telecommute Medical Charge Review Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Utilize clinical and/or coding expertise to enhance revenue integrity
  • Perform concurrent or retrospective charge capture audits
  • Compare medical record documentation to the itemized bill

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • Three or more years of relevant experience
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
  • Experience and success in practices, procedures, and concepts of the healthcare revenue cycle
