Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Medical Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Answering coding and abstracting questions from peers, doctors, hospital employees, etc.
- Maintaining coding accuracy rate
- Accurately identifying and entering data elements for abstracting
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 4-6 weeks of training may be required
- 2-5 years' experience
- Certification(s): CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA
- Thorough knowledge of coding guidelines and medical terminology
