Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Medical Coder II in Brentwood.
Must be able to:
- Review and code clinical notes for physician documentation
- Coordinate and reconcile encounters to ensure complete charge capture
- Charge entry of coded services into the billing system in a timely manner
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 2+ years of experience in coding and/or reimbursement activities
- Must be proficient with eCW EMR, PatientKeeper charge capture system, and/or other related billing systems
- Must be familiar with third party fee profiles and reimbursement requirements
- CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, AHIMA, AAPC, CPC, or COC Certification
