Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Medical Coder II in Kennesaw.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assign the appropriate diagnostic and/or procedural code(s)
• Research and resolve general coding issues
• Generate and distribute general reports for management review

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma
• AAPC or AHIMA Certification
• 2-4 years’ related experience
• Great computer skills
• Knowledge of governmental billing and coding process rules and regulations
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
