Job Summary

A hospital and healthcare system is filling a position for a Telecommute Medical Coder III in Temple.

Must be able to:

• Analyze and interpret documentation from medical records and complete accurate coding of diagnoses
• Validate required data elements into the coding and abstracting screens/systems
• Utilize the International Classification of Disease (ICD-10CM. ICD-10-PCS)

Qualifications Include:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CIRCC certification required
• Minimum of three years of experience required
