Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Medical Coder in Brentwood.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Charging entry of coded services into the billing system in a timely manner
• Coordinating and reconciling encounters to ensure complete charge capture
• Reviewing and coding clinical notes for physician documentation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be familiar with third party fee profiles and reimbursement requirements
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in absence of a coding certification
• Must be proficient with eCW EMR, PatientKeeper charge capture system, and/or other related billing systems
