Job Summary
A commercial organization is seeking a Telecommute Medical Coder Lead.
Must be able to:
- Assure accuracy and timeliness of all applicable review type cases within contract requirements
- Assess, evaluate and address daily workload and queues
- Analyze productivity of Medical Coders
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Occasionally travel within the state
- 3 years of clinical coding experience in an acute or med-surgical environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification as a Coding Specialist
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Coding program
- Knowledge of the organization of medical records, medical terminology, and disease process
