Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Medical Coding Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing medical documentation for appropriate ICD-10 and CPT coding and documentation
- Following up with physicians when assignments are not straightforward or documentation is unclear
- Training and educating others on coding, documentation, claim payment guidelines, and related issues
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 1 year of experience; Strong E/M FFS coding background; or
- Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Certified Medical Code (CPC, CCS-P, or CCEMC) required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy required
