Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Medical Coding Auditor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Reviewing medical documentation for clinical indicators
• Utilizing encoders and various coding resources
• Performing CPT Procedure reviews

Qualifications for this position include:

• Ability to travel 10% or less of the work year for training, team meetings, possible onsite audits
• Certified Medical Coder with at least one of the following: RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC through either AHIMA or AAPC
• 3 years of consecutive years of Outpatient coding and Outpatient auditing experience within the last 5 years
• Experience needs to include CPT surgical coding and auditing
• Demonstrated ability to lead process/project initiatives
• High school diploma or equivalent
