Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Medical Coding Reimbursement Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Abstracting data necessary for billing and statistical purposes
• Assisting with identification and implementation of process improvements
• Collaborating with the Business Office to ensure compliant billing practices are being maintained

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 3-5 Years Experience
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• Knowledge of types of health information and the rules and regulations surrounding their use
• Understanding of ICD10CM coding, ICD10PCS coding, CPT coding and coding guidelines
• Advanced understanding of coding grouping methodologies
• Understanding of common medical terminology
