A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommute Medical Coding Specialist in Atlanta.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims
• Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis
• Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of working as a medical coder
• Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC
• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
• Excellent written verbal and communication skills
• Technically savvy
• High speed internet with good service available at your home
