Job Summary
A health management solutions company has an open position for a Telecommute Medical Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Participating in business development meetings with prospective clients
- Strategizing with the CMO and consulting teams on project approach
- Ensuring the effective implementation of proprietary technology and consulting services
Position Requirements Include:
- M.D. or D.O. degree, plus Board Certification
- Current, unrestricted medical licensed, or eligible for licensure, in Missouri, Texas, or Massachusetts.
- 5+ years of successful clinical practice experience
- 3+ years’ of health plan or capitated provider experience with exposure to: disease management, HEDIS reporting, provider relations, utilization management, quality management, peer review, case management, denial/appeals, and accreditation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated track record of building productive working relationships with subordinates, peers, senior management, and external customers
