Job Summary

A health insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Medical Director.

Must be able to:

• Evaluate requests for service coverage for medical necessity
• Interpret existing policies and develop new policies
• Lead, develop, direct and implement clinical and non-clinical activities

Qualifications Include:

• M.D. or D.O. – an active state license required
• ABMS Board certification required
• 5 years clinical experience or any or any combination of education and experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
