Job Summary

A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Medical Director in Sugar Land.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise in surgery to provide clinical support and business direction
• Participate on work groups as a clinical subject matter expert to identify and promote opportunities to improve the quality
• Apply clinical coding and reimbursement expertise to insure alignment and correct application of policies

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Percent of Travel Required 0 - 10%
• The level of education required for candidates in this position is M.D., or DO
• Medical/Medical License (MD) is required
• Functional - Medical Management/Medical Management - Complaints, Grievance & Appeals/1-3 Years
• Leadership/Driving a Culture of Compliance/FOUNDATION
• All other requirements necessary for this position
