Job Summary

A staffing agency has an open position for a Telecommute Medical Insurance Data Entry Specialist in North Charleston.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required (must have a physical copy or be able to obtain a copy)
  • Must have copy of W2 from last employer
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience required
  • They must have the ability to work remotely (internet and ethernet cable)
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required)
