Job Summary
A business process outsourcing company is in need of a Telecommute Medical Insurance Follow Up Specialist in Cleveland.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Checking claim status over the phone
- Checking claim status on payer (insurance company's) website
- Working claim errors in multiple client systems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Critical thinking and problem solving mindset
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to complete a 7 year background check
- Ability to research or “hunt” for missing information in client systems
- Ability to correct denied claims and resubmit to insurance companies
