Job Summary

A software company that develops speech and imaging applications is seeking a Telecommute Medical Language Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Transcribe medical dictation
  • Recognize, interprets, and evaluates inconsistencies
  • Flag reports requiring the attention QA staff

Qualifications Include:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, AHDI guidelines and procedures
  • At least one year medical transcription experience in pathology
  • Knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices
  • Ability to operate designated word processing, dictation, and transcription equipment
  • Ability to use excellent English grammar and spelling
  • Ability to speak, read and write the English language fluently
