Job Summary

A leading healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Medical Management Specialist I or II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Gathering clinical information and determining appropriate area to refer or assign case
  • Conducting initial review of files to determine appropriate action required
  • Acting as liaison between medical management operations and other internal departments

Position Requirements Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of administrative and customer service experience
  • Knowledge of managed care or Medicaid/Medicare concepts
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills
