An online university is seeking a Telecommute Medical Manuscript Editor in Baltimore.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and supervise freelance or part-time manuscript editor
• Provide oversight of all manuscripts, peer review, post-acceptance editing, and proofreading
• Identify potential authors for new materials and personally solicit new manuscripts

Qualifications Include:

• Must be able to attend occasional meetings at the office in downtown Baltimore
• Minimum of three years of related scientific journal experience
• Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline
• Proven ability to manage the full editorial process using a cloud-based manuscript submission and peer-review tracking system
