Job Summary
A medical benefits management solutions company is filling a position for a Telecommute Medical Oncology Associate Medical Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing timely expert medical review
- Reviewing appeals for denied services
- Providing timely peer-to-peer discussions
Qualifications for this position include:
- M.D. or D.O with current, active, U.S. state medical license AND
- Board certified in a clinical specialty recognized by the ABMS WITH
- Recent practice experience in direct patient care-within past 18 months
- 5 years of clinical experience- post residency/fellowship
- Familiarity with automated processes and computer applications and systems
