Job Summary

A molecular diagnostic company is seeking a Telecommute Medical Payment Poster in San Diego.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Post Insurance and 3rd party payments, adjustments and contractual using our internal software
  • Determine overpayments and underpayments from insurance and 3rd party payers
  • Recognize and report consistent trends in revenue recognition

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Knowledge of insurance reimbursement procedures, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, standard CARC and RARC’s
  • Must have a high understanding and ability to read an Explanation of Benefits
  • High School diploma
  • 1-year related experience in medical field
  • Keyboarding skills above 50 wpm
  • Microsoft Office Suite
