Job Summary

A privately-held health information technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Medical Record Clinical Review Lead.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing medical records (MRR, OR1, any backlog)
  • Assisting platform clients with backlog, larger chart page counts
  • Maintaining training course material for medical record abstraction and data entry

Qualifications Include:

  • Current Coding Certification through AAPC and/or AHIMA
  • 5 years coding experience
  • Specific knowledge of Medicare and Commercial Risk Adjustment such as HCC
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and pharmacology
  • Advanced skills utilizing official coding resources for research and problem solving
  • Advanced skills and knowledge of computers
