A staffing agency is seeking a Telecommute Medical Records Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Coding medical records utilizing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4 AND HCPCS Level II coding conventions
• Maintaining compliance with quality and standards outlined in HIM Coding Policies
• Conducting audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise

Required Skills:

• Remote work is available for residents of North Carolina after 90 days
• High school diploma
• AHIMA certification
• Working knowledge of medical jargon and anatomy
• Excellent typing and 10-key speed and accuracy
• Commitment to high level of customer service
