Job Summary
A medical center is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Medical Records Coding Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coding inpatient and outpatient medical records
- Maintaining approved work schedule and submit weekly volume log
- Coding inpatient, emergency room, outpatient surgery, outpatient clinic, pain block and ancillary area records
Qualifications for this position include:
- HS Graduate or GED required
- Registered as an Accredited Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Minimum of two years coding experience
