Job Summary

A medical transcription company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Medical Transcriptionist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Engaging in VR editing
• Providing medical transcription services
• Utilizing background to complete required tasks

Required Skills:

• Completion of a qualified medical transcription course or 2 years medical transcription/medical editing experience
• Ability to understand diverse accents, dialects, and varying dictation styles
• Knowledge of medical transcription standard guidelines and practices
• Knowledge of applicable medical terminology and phrasing
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements
• Proficiency with word processing software such as Microsoft Word as well as general computer skills
