Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Medicare Advantage Member Provider Service Representative.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Receiving and responding to telephone inquiries from members
- Estimating member’s out of pocket expenses for select procedures or services
- Documenting all call information per approved operating procedures
Position Requirements Include:
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Member Service Rep OR a Provider Service Rep for a Medicare Advantage Plan
- Strong knowledge of claims and how they process; the ability to explain claims processes and statuses to members and providers
- Must have strong technical skills
- Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
