Job Summary

A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Medicare Advantage Member Provider Service Representative.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Receiving and responding to telephone inquiries from members
  • Estimating member’s out of pocket expenses for select procedures or services
  • Documenting all call information per approved operating procedures

Position Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Member Service Rep OR a Provider Service Rep for a Medicare Advantage Plan
  • Strong knowledge of claims and how they process; the ability to explain claims processes and statuses to members and providers
  • Must have strong technical skills
  • Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
