Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Medicare Utilization Management Registered Nurse.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Providing the best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members
- Coordinating and communicating with providers, members, or other parties
- Understanding department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in NC or VA with no disciplinary action.
- Previous experience in utilization management, case management or discharge planning
- Prior clinical experience preferably in an acute care
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office
