Job Summary
A healthcare and retail pharmacy company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Member Advocate.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Educating & assisting members on various elements of Medicaid benefits & services, benefit plan information & available services
- Utilizing all relevant information to effectively influence member engagement
- Initiating contact with members who have lost their Medicaid eligibility & fall into the DSNP grace period, to remind them to recertify
Qualifications for this position include:
- Knowledge of Medicaid benefits, services, program and system design (Health and Welfare, Wealth, other benefits)
- Knowledge and understanding of state policy or Medicaid eligibility and low-income state resources
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements
