Job Summary

A provider of healthcare technology is in need of a Telecommute Microservices API Senior Software Developer in Boston.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Helping deliver on company's mission of democratizing Data-Driven Medicine
• Helping in the design of company's microservice based system
• Ensuring state of the art in terms of coding and patterns, security, high availability and scalability, documentation, tests and automation

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• 5 years’ experience in software engineering field
• Experienced software engineer with extensive experience developing and operating microservice-based solutions
• Comfort in designing for large, fault tolerant and scalable distributed systems
• Familiarity with a broad range of storage and database technologies, messaging systems and modern web-based technology stacks
• Proven in-depth knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, SaaS, and API development
