Job Summary
An IT service provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Mid Level Configuration Manager in Charleston.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating the CM plan, Version Description Document (VDD) and standard operating procedures
- Create and maintain baseline documentation and software
- Plan and facilitate "release readiness" meetings with project stakeholders prior to promoting code to lower and upper environments
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3 years of experience using and administering CM tools to store, track, build, and manage configuration items
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (or related field) or equivalent
- Minimum three years of experience in developing, building, and managing CM systems for complex applications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in configuring and managing Rational Tools is required
- Experience with creating, managing and promoting different builds related to software code and related artifacts
- Skilled with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
